NELIUS WANJIRU THIARARA

It is with humble acceptance of the Lord’s will that we announce the passing of Nelius Wanjiru Thiarara (of Nairobi City County Office), that occurred on 1st December, 2022 in Chennai, India following a post surgery complication.

She was the loving wife to Evans Thiarara Chiuri. Mother to Tabitha Njeri Thiarara and Chiuri Thiarara.

Loving daughter to Esborn Kuria and Jane Kuria. Daughter-in-law to Bernard Chiuri Kahea and the late Tabitha Njeri Chiuri (Waathiarara). Sister to Margaret Njeri Kuria (USA), Gideon Wandie Kuria and Bedan Muchema Kuria.

Sister-in-law to Prof Wanjiku Chiuri (Laikipia University), Catherine Mumbi, Nancy Wambura, Peninah Wanjugu, Charles Kahea, Grace Wanyeni and Alice Wambui. Adored cousin, aunty, and friends to many.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home -Thika Road, Kabati on Friday 9th December, 2022 at 8.00am followed by a burial service at P.C.E.A – Ragati Church at 10.30am. She will be laid to rest at the family home in Ragati, (Karia/Mungi) Karatina.

There will be a fundraiser to be held at All Saint’s Cathedral – Nairobi on Tuesday 6th December,2022 from 5.00pm – 8.00pm.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday 7th December, 2022 at P.C.E.A – Bahati Martyrs Church, Nairobi at 2.00pm.
