It is with profound sadness and sorrow that we announce the demise of Mrs. Priscah Warigo Symon which occurred on 29th December, 2022 at Bellevue Hospital (South C), Nairobi. She hails from Wahundura Sub-location, Wahundura Location, Kamacharia Division, Mathioya District.

Beloved wife of Mwalimu Symon Wambugu Murabacha/Gikuru.

Sister to the late Lizzie Gathoni Kiemo and the late John Mbathi.

Adoring mother to Jane Wanjiru Githinji, Eunice Wangari, Miriam Gachambi Thuo, Lizzie Gathoni Kimari, Fraciah Wambui Kimani, Mwalimu Murabacha Gikuru, Washington Kaminju, Mwalimu Donvan Mwangi and Anne Wairimu. Mother-in-law to Githinji Muriuki, the late James Thuo, Nicholas Kimari, Peter Kimani,Anastasia Waithera and Lillian Wairimu.

Grandmother to David Muriuki, Michael Wambugu, Allan Ngari, Deborah Wanjugu, Carolyn Wanjiku, Anne Wanjiku, Catherine Mwihaki, Erick Muthithe, the late Fredrick Kariuki, Grace Nyambura, Maryanne Warigo, Priscah Warigo, Symon Wambugu (Jnr), Cecilia Wanjiru, Titus Kuria, Christine Warigo and Vanessa Wanjiru. She was a great-grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Kiria-ini Mortuary at 8:30am on 8th December, 2022. Thereafter the funeral service will be held at A.C.K Wahundura Church on 8th December, 2022 from 10:00am, and later burial will be held at her home in Kiburu Village, Wahundura Sub-location.
