ROSE AOKO ONYANGO

1962 – 2022

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mama Rose Aoko Onyango which occurred on the 25th November, 2022 at Gundersen Hospital in Wisconsin (USA).

Loving wife to Joshua Onyango Muga of Uyoma Lweya in Rarieda Constituency.

Daughter of the late Mzee John Okello Ragang and the late Mama Doris Abiero Okello.

Beloved mother to Harrison Muga (Geminia Insurance), Beatrice Onyango, Dr. George Onyango (USA), Doris Onyango (Germany), Wycliffe Onyango (USA) and Esther Christensen (USA). Mother-in-law to Lynette Mercy Muga, Bwire Wafula, Cassandra Onyango and Riley Thomas Christensen.

Sister to Leonard Awuor, Fredrick Ondeng’, the late Paul Aliwa, the late Seline Akinyi, the late Victoria Atieno and the late Adhiambo.

Sister-in-law to Agneta Oguna, Dr. Jenipher Adipo, the late Anna Obera and Samuel Amollo.

She was a doting grandma to Alpha Muga, Peres Muga, Samara Gweth, Shana Friday and Auriela.

In-law to Mzee Hanington Ating’a, mama Petronilla Ating’a, and mama Rose Mumbo.

The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 16th December, 2022 for Uyoma Lweya home in Rarieda. Burial will be on Saturday, I7th November 2022.
