SELINA AMAKOBE NGAYWA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs Selina Amakobe Wanjiri Ngaywa, which occurred on 26th December, 2022 while undergoing treatment at Coptic Hospital in Nairobi. Until his untimely demise, the late was serving as the Senior Assistant Secretary, Desk Officer IGAD -National Steering Committee on Peace Building and Conflict Management (NSC) in the Ministry of Interior and National Administration.

She was a Loving wife to James Ngaywa Kuboka, and a loving Mother to Ivy Tina Nyanje and Ivan Baraka Kuboka.

Daughter to the late Apollo Oduor Wanjiri and Mama Ruth Oduor. Sister to Justus, Balifa, James, Jesse, Francis, Isaac, Grace A, Valarie, Grace P and Sena.

Daughter in-law to the Late Aggrey Kuboka and Mama LC Romonah Kuboka and Sister in-law to Kenneth, Salome, Joy, Joseph, Frankline, Stanley, and Mary.

A memorial service will be held at ACK St. Cecilia Tassia on Tuesday 3rd January, 2023 at 10.00am.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nairobi on Thursday 5th January, 2023 for a wake ceremony and thereafter, be laid to rest on Saturday 7th January, 2023 at her matrimonial home in Mwiyenga Sub Location, Bukura location in Kakamega County.
