LUKE (M) OMWANSA

It is with a heavy heart and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved dad Luke (M) Omwansa which occurred on 21St December 2022 at Nyangena Hospital after a long illness bravely borne.

Son to the late Peter Oronyi and the late Elizabeth Buyaki. Brother to Christopher, Salome, Patrick, Sebastiano, Maurice and Consolata.

Loving husband to Josephine Sarange. Father to Carren (GCFCU), Regina (Business Lady), Edna (MOH), Damaris (MOH), Nancy (Judiciary), Mercy (MOH), Edwin (Tabaka M. Hospital), Pauline (USA), Dennis and Dolphine. Father-in-law to Edward, Erick, Dennis, Dr. Monda, Kepha and Lameck.

Korera to the late Ombuki, the late Kabeta, Onchiri, Marucha, Ombati and Mokaya. He had 12 grandchildren. Uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Before his illness began in 2013, he worked as a Chief Co-operative Officer in the Ministry of Co-operatives.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary on Thursday, 5th January 2023 at 8:00am and burial will take place on Friday, 6th January 2023 at his residential home in Nyadiba I, Geteri village, Nyakoe sub-location, Iranda Location.

In God’s arms you rest and in our hearts you remain forever. You fought a good fight, you finished the race, you kept the faith.
