It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing away of Mzee Martin Oketch Orengo.

Son to the late Orengo Agwanda and the late Mama Janet Ong’ayo of Korando ‘A’ Sub-Location Kotetni Village.

Beloved husband to Mama Margret Adhiambo Oketch. Father to George Omondi, Nereah, Pelesia, Risper, Roseline and the late Ruth.

Brother to Meshack, Joshua, Nashon, Advocate Moses J. A. Orengo and the late Agnes.

Cousin to Amos Danga, Gilbert, Naftali, among others.

Brother-in-law to Dorcas, Alice, Susan, Beatrice, Millicent, Joy, Silpa, Rose, Beltine, Risper Okungu and the late Rose Omulo.

Uncle to Rosemary, Jane Christine, Richard, Esther, Mercy, Evelyn, Edwick, Samson, Kennedy, George Obiero, Dancun, Ken, Evans, Emily, Benta, Silvya, Judith, Penninah, Maurice and Boaz.

Father-in-law to Anne Otieno Omondi, Elizabeth, Melissa, Maureen and the late Mary Omoga.

His in-laws were Vitalis, Rev.Alfayo, Paul and the late Peter and Willis.

He left 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Kisumu District Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 13th January 2023 for an overnight vigil before burial on Saturday, 14th January 2023 led by Kotetni AIC Church.
