CAROLINE GATHONI KAMAU (MWAURA)

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition of our beloved Caroline Gathoni Mwaura Kamau of Maina,Omore & Mwaura Advocates on 3rd January 2023 after an illness bravely borne.

Loving wife to Edwin Kamau Maina and loving mother to Austin Leslie Maina of Mount Kenya Academy and Elsie Njoki of Kianda School Nairobi.

Daughter of the late Patrick Kirono Mwaura and the late Anne Wanjiku Mwaura and step-daughter to Mary Wambui Mwaura. Daughter-in law to Nicholas Maina Kiritu and Veronica Njoki Maina.

Sister to Martin Mwaura, Lawrence lrungu, Ernest Ngumi and Sylviah Wambui. Sister-in-law to Kevin Kiritu,Anthony Miano and Joan Asiimwe lrungu. She was an aunty, colleague and loving friend to many.

Burial preparation meetings are being held every weekday at Holy Family Basilica starting at 5:30pm.

Prayers are being conducted daily at her parent’s home Southlands Estate, Langata Hse no 390, Jordan Court from 6:00pm.

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday, 11th January 2023 starting at 12:00pm at the St. Paul University Chapel.

The cortege Leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home Thika Road on Friday, 13th January 2023 at 7:00am. The Funeral will be held at their family home at Lamuria Village, Kieni West Sub County, Nyeri County starting at 11:00am.
