RETIRED COMMISSIONER GENERAL OF THE KENYA PRISONS SERVICE ISAYA MOSIORI OSUGO O.G.W, C.B.S

We regret to announce the death of Retired Commissioner General of the Kenya Prisons Service Isaya Mosiori Osugo O.G.W, C.B.S of Bondonya, Nyangusu Sub-location of Kisii County, which occurred at Nairobi Hospital on Monday 9th January 2023, after a brave fight with cancer.

Son to the late Mzee Samuel Osugo Mochama, the late Yucabeth Kerubo and Caren Nyangara. Husband to Drusilla Mosiori. Son in law to Justus and Peris Asiago.

Father to Eric (Kenya Prisons), Stella, Maria, Clive (NHIF), Maureen (Pensions Nairobi), Dr. Christine (Australia) and Joel (KPMG). Grandfather to Mosiori, Levina, Janet,Tamara among others.

Brother to Norah, Grace, Zephaniah, Jane, the late Josephine and the late Zipporah.

Uncle to Josephine, Bernard, Matoke andYunia among others.

Father-in-law to Pamela, Isaiah, Leonard, Betty, Cody (AUS) among others.

Korera to Rugendo, Akenga, Sigei, Mirioba, Guistelli (AUS) among others.

Brother-in law to the late Onyancha, Machoka, Elizabeth, the late Omwange, Samuel, Solomon (USA) among others.

Nephew to the late Kengere, the late Asiago, the late Mageto, the late Onchabo, the late Akeya, the late Magara, the late Nyakeri, the late Nyamusi, the late Nyangau, Milka, Grace, Joyce, Bosibori among others.

Cousin to the late Ongera, Samson (USA), Giddeon (KDF), the late Jacob among many others. He was a friend and colleague to many.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday 17th January 2023 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Nairobi Central SDA church.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Thursday 19th January 2023 for a night vigil at his home in Nyaboterere village. He will be laid to rest at his home Nyaboterere village, Nyangusu Sub-location, Kisii County on Friday 20th January 2023.
