It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our family patriarch Mzee Stanley Laikera.

Husband to the late Justina Laikera and Damaris Kanario. Cherished father to Ann (Meru), Agnes (KSG-NRB), Lawrence (Director BPS-Meru), Abraham (DCC-Teso North), Solomon (DCI KRA-NRB), Pamela (Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports-NRB) and Irene (Business Lady -USA/ NRB).

Brother to Andrew Mucheke.

Grandfather to Fridah, Ian, Linet, Hope, Stano, Dennis, Hawkins, Abigael, Stano, Nicole, Leslie, Wisdom, Caleb, Justina, Justine and Hazel.

Father-in-law to Atanasius, Sophie, Maureen, Susan and Marcus (U.S.A). He was uncle and cousin to many.

The Cortege leaves St. Theresa Mission Hospital mortuary, Kiirua on Saturday, 21 January, 2023 at 9.00a.m. for Holy Mass and interment at home, Karamene Village, Athwana Ward, Akithii Division, Tigania West Constituency, Meru County.

Baaba, you have fought a good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith.
