ARCHITECT JOHN DUMAS GACHARA

We are saddened to announce the death of Architect John Dumas Gachara, Founder & CEO, Newbuild Limited, Nakuru, following a brave battle with leukemia.

Son to the late George Gachara Kigathi & late Mary Wanjiku Gachara.

Husband to Esther Njoki. Father to Eva Wanjiku Muraya (BSD Group) & late Michael Muraya, Joyce Muthoni & Joel Kabaiku, Louisa Kosimbei, Gachara Dumas, Evelyn Dumas & Viona Dumas.

Brother to Josephine Nyaguthii, late GladysWanja, James Gachara,Agnes Mwangi, Lydia Gachara, late Peter Gachara, late Nancy Njenga, Mercy Gachara & late Catherine Gachara.

Grandfather to Stephanie VVambui, Zawadi Nyambura, Juliana Wangari, Junette Wairimu, Joan Wanjiku, Jasmine Imani, Justin Baraka & Trevor Dumas Gachara.

Brother-in-law to late Raymond Kiama, late Naomi Wangari, Anne Nyambura, late Samuel Mwangi, late Roman Chege, James Njenga Kamau, Florence Njuguna, Susan Mbugua amongst others. Cousin and uncle to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Freehold, Nakuru, and at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi, St. James Hall on Tuesday 24th & Wednesday, 25th at 5.30pm.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, 26th January at the Nairobi Chapel, Ngong Road at 10.30am.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home Nakuru on Friday, 27th January at 8.00am for funeral service at 10.00am at PCEA Dr. Arthur Church, Nakuru. The burial rites will thereafter follow at 1.00pm at his Mbaruk Farm, Nakuru.
