MAMA MARY ADHIAMBO WINJA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mama Mary Adhiambo Winja which occurred on 15th January 2023, after a short illness.

Loving wife of Gilbert Winja Oloo of Yimbo Majengo School, Usigu Division. Mother to the late Allan Onyango, Rosemary Agai, the late Eunice Njeri, Past. Eric Oloo, Antoinette Achieng, Roy Muga (KWS), Judy Anyango (Mbagathi Hospital), Christine Winja (KWS),Terry Jaoko (KDF) and the late George Ogolla. She was blessed with 25 grand children and 8 great grandchildren.

Mother-in-law to Doreen Oredo (Sonny Sugar), the late Willys Agai, the late James Mauga, the late Walter Kola, Jacquiline Omondi (KWS), Caren Ngare and the late Luke Omolo.

Daughter to the late Dickson Ooko Onyango and the late Mama Grace Anyango. Sister to Joyce Wamaya, Washington Otieno, Adhiambo Winja Erick Ooko, the late Ruth Apiyo, Janet Adongo, Pamela Akello, Emily Ameda and Lorna Adhiambo. Step-Sister to Millicent Ochola Rose Oguda, Evance Ooko and the late George Juma. Step-daughter to Jane Ooko, of Ukwala Location, Siranga Sub-Location, Kamrembo Siwadhe Village.

The cortege leaves JOOTRH Kisumu Funeral Home on Friday, 27th January 2023 at 9.00am for a funeral service at All Saints Memorial ACK Majengo Church at 1.00pm thereafter night vigil at her home in Nduru Village, Majengo School. The burial will be held on Saturday, 28th January 2023.
