It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing on of Mzee Joseph Nyasing’a Moruri, which occurred on 27th January, 2023 at Nyanchwa Mission Hospital.

Son of the late Moruri Mogeni and the late Leah Kwamboka, the late Nyabwengi and the late Nyanchama.

Loving husband to Teresia Gesare. Father to the late Japheth Moruri, Jella Mose, the late Christopher Nyambati, the late Pacificah Mocheche, Pauline Omari, Zipporah Moraa, Tabitha Atuti, Eric Nyasing’a (SGT KDF), Sarah Mong’ina and Barnabas Abuga.

Brother to the late Mbeche, the late Nyanchama, Monyangi, the late Mariera, the late Sibia, the late Ruth, the late Onkoba, the late Mogeni, Thomas, the late Makini, the late Bonareri, the late Bosibori, Jerusha.

Brother-in-law to, Esteri, Prisca, the late Peris, the late Daniel, Mrs, Ayoti, Mrs. Mwebi, Maria, Nyanchama, Paulina, Kerubo, Colonel, Ondicho and Omosa.

Father in law to Dinah Moruri, the late Paul Mose, Dinah Nyambati, Bernard Ombogo, the late Evans Omari, Ogoti, Atuti, Stella Makini and Teresa.

Great-grandfather to 68 grandchildren.

There will be a Holy Mass at St. Joseph Kiomiti Catholic Church on Thursday 16th February, at 2:00 pm.

A Funds drive will be held on Wednesday 15th February, 2023, at his home in Kiomiti at 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves Kisii Teaching and Referral Mortuary on Thursday 16th February, 2023 for burial at his home in Kiomiti, Gesusu Ward, Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County on Friday 17th February, 2023.
