It is with profound shock and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved mother Mary Jelimo Rutto which occurred on 08/02/2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Eldoret.

Daughter of the late, Toroitich Kimurgong and the late Tarkok of Kabugan, Uasin Gishu County.

Wife to the late Salil Esil Rutto. Co-wife to Esther Rutto of Racecourse Farm Eldoret. Mother to Raymond (deceased) Emmy, Betty, Josephine (deceased), Christine, John (deceased), Mike, Joy (USA), Daisy, Beatrice (USA), Faith (USA),Victor (deceased), Gladys, Mercy,Vicky (USA), Sharon and Shannel of Racecourse Farm.

Sister to Lydia, Eunice, Jonathan, Jane, Ruth. Esther, Paul, Alice, William (deceased) Abraham (deceased), Anna (deceased), Paul (deceased), Prisca, Josphat, Grace, Dorcas, John, Samuel, Lillian (deceased) Philip (deceased) and Ben.

Mother-in-law to Roslyn, Mike, Nelly (deceased), Mr. Clark (USA), Tom, Sheila, Silas, Mitchel (USA), Jude, and Faith.

A doting grandmother to Jerry (USA), Charleen (USA), Harry, Sherry, Clinton, Brenda, Ronnie and Rehema, Nicole, Michelle, Doris, Brian, Michelle, Hope, Nancy, Collins, lvanna, Imani, Isiah,Amana, Nicole Chepchumba, Leon, Marley (USA), Madison (USA), Maddox (USA), Sean, Darrel, Tracy, Stacy, Shantel, Shawin, and Gavin. A great-grandmother to Neithan (USA), Allana, Allen, Chebet, Jerry Jr, Shanice.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Racecourse at 5.00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

There will be a funds-drive on Wednesday, 15/02/2023 at her residence in Racecourse Farm. The harambee starts at 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital on Friday, 17/02/2023 for service at Ushirika RCEA. Thereafter, the burial will be held on Saturday, 18/02/2023 at her home in Race Course Farm, Eldoret.
