DORCAS NANJULULU ISANYA

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved mother Dorcas Nanjululu Isanya, which occurred on 1 of February, 2023 at the Aga Khan Hospital, Kisumu.

Daughter to the late Kalabayi and the late Shifuma. Daughter-in-law to the late Kweyu Shihunwa Musambai and Sarah Lung’atso Shihunwa. Sister-in-law to the late Lucia, the late Mmbone, the late Icheselwa and the late Mmali.

Loving wife to the late Christopher lsanya Shihunwa and co-wife to Diana Khevali lsanya. Loving mother to Joyce Mmbaya, Mary Ayuma, Doris Achitsa, Jafred Musamba, Jennifer Atamba Isanya, Milton Bahati Uhuru lsanya and Peter Mambo. Step-mother to Sabina Khavai, Selina Wilunda, the late John, Arthur Likoti, the late Jane Atamba and Geoffrey Kweyu.

Mother-in-law to the late Jackson Mmbaya, the late Aggrey Nakweya, Margaret Musamba, Consolata Mambo,Violet Kweyu and Winfred Isanya. She is survived by 23 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayer and funeral arrangements at the family home in Murhanda, Kakamega County.

The cortege left Kakamega Referral Funeral Home on Thursday, 16th February, 2023 at 4:00pm for an overnight stay at the family home Murhanda village, Shisembe Sub-location, Kakamega County. The Funeral Service and burial will be held on Saturday, 18th February, 2023 starting at 9:00am.
