Quitty Menezes, loving wife of the late Pius Menezes, is traveling back from Switzerland to her homeland, Kenya, to be laid to rest in Nairobi.

Quitty was born in Pemba and lived in Zanzibar until she met her true love Pius. They were married in Nairobi in 1952 and had four children: Deborah (David), the late Penny, Vicki (Mark) and Malcolm (Anthoulla). She was a most loving mother to her children and the sweetest grandmother to Jon (Nicole), Nick, Caspar, Michaela, Karla, Max and Marky and beloved by so many friends.

After Pius’ demise in 1995, Quitty decided to move to Geneva, Switzerland, to live with her daughter Vicki and son-in-law, Mark. In the evening of 13.12.2022, the angels passed to take Quitty to her heavenly abode. Her ashes are returning to her homeland Kenya to be buried with her beloved Late husband, Pius. In lieu of flowers, the Offertory collection at Mass will be for the Salesian Project for feeding children in the Nairobi slums.
