OWEN MATU MACHIRA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the sudden passing on of our beloved Owen Matu.
Son of Isaac Reuben Machira and Charity Nyawira Machira of Gitunduti, Magutu, Nyeri County.
Brother to Lucy Gathoni (USA), Michael Kahagi and Joan Njamiu.
Brother-in-Law to Leah Kahagi and Chris Githaiga. Nephew to Late Simon Njagi (wa Jonah), Esther Nyawira, Late Henry Gakomo, Mary Warutere, Susan Wambui, Rachael Mumbi (USA), Late Kirira Job, Late Zipporah Matambo, Late Kihori Job, Miriam Macharia, Perpetua Pasha, Lydia Wainaina, Maina Job, Grace Kahagi, Irene Kahagi and Late Hunja. Uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Meetings are taking place at home in Gitunduti at 3:30pm and All Saints Cathedral Nairobi on Tuesday, 7th March 2023 at 5:30pm.
The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, 9th March 2023 at St. Lwanga Catholic Church, Gitunduti at 10.00am, followed by burial at home.
Matu: May you rest in God’s hands and live in our hearts forever.
