MIKE MUCHIRU GAKUYA

1962 – 2023

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of our beloved Mike Muchiru Gakuya (Gamic Construction Limited Company) on Thursday 23/03/2023 of Micharage Village, Makomboki Sub-location Kangare Sub-county, Kigumo/Gituru District, Murang’a County.

He was son of the late James Gakuya and late Janet Wanjiru.

He was husband to Salome Nyambura. Father to CPA Eric Gakuya (KenyaTea Development Agency), Lewis Kuria (Freight Forward Kenya) and Austin Kahora.

He was brother to Esther Wangui Muchiri, Francis Kahora, Eng. Erastus Karanja, Arthur Mwaniki, Ruth Wanjiku Kigaa, Irene Mwithaga Kibunja and Lucy Wangari Muhia.

He was son-in-law to the late John Kuria Mugecha and Teresiah Wanjiru and was brother-in-law to Veronica Njeri,William Gitau,Joseph Kibogo and Moses Gikera.

Funeral meetings are being held at Sagas Hotel, Thika Road from Monday to Thursday at 5.30 pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Mortuary (Thika Road), on Friday 31/03/2023 at 8.00am and thereafter funeral service will be held at his home at Gituru on Friday 31/03/2023 from 11.00 am and burial thereafter.
