FREDRICK MUGWIRIAH M’THURUA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Fredrick Mugwiriah M’thurua on 20th March 2023, after a short illness.

He was the son of the late Reuben M’thurua Manyangu & the late Isabella Ciomba M’thurua and step-son to the late Gladys M’thurua.

Beloved husband of the late Winfred Igoji Mugwiriah. Father to the late Isabella Gatakaa, Enid Kawira, the late Geoffrey Kibaara, Eliphaz Muchunku, Lucy Kaari, Dr. Rose Gatune, Ashford Karuga, Cate Kagendo & Alfred Muthomi.

Father in-law to lmunde, Njeru, Dr. Mwitari, Purity, Jerusa, Mark & Nyambura. Brother to Mr & Mrs Mugo, Mr & Mrs Kaburu, the late Julius & Kellen Cirindi, Mr & Mrs Riungu, Nteere.

Brother-in-law to the late Ruth & Karugara, the late Madam Nceece & Eliphaz Muchiri, Eustace Muchiri & the late Mukwarama, Lydia & the late Njuguna, the late Kamau, Nancy & the late Bundi, Kaari & the late Festus Nyaga, the late Kamau Kiko, the late Mukwanjeru & Njau, the late Gatune & Mutua, the late Kanjiru & the late Henry.

Grandfather to Kariuki, Karani, Kirimi, Makena, Gitonga, Ivy, Claire, jedidah, Queen, Mutwiri, Kendi, Mwenda, Mutuma, Winnie, Sharon, Jerry, Leon, Alicia, Nasha, Brandon, Renee, Murimi, Kyle, Natasha, Nathan, Pendo & Natalia. He was a great grandfather and uncle to many.

The cortege will leave PCEA Chogoria Hospital on Friday, 31st March at 10.00am for funeral service and thereafter burial at his home at Wiru Chogoria, Tharaka Nithi County.

Family and Friends are meeting daily at All Saints Cathedral from 5.00pm for thanks giving.
