CATHERINE OTIENO
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of our beloved wife, mother, sister, daughter, and aunt, Mrs. Catherine Otieno, which occurred on 4th April, 2023, after a short illness.
She was born on 4th September, 1968, to the late John Ogola and Phoebe Ogola.
Catherine was the beloved wife of Dr. Francis Ayugi (JOOTRH). A loving mother to Dennis Ochieng (Kapu), Caren Amondi (Moi University), Phoebe Akinyi (USIU), Edwin Omondi (KU) and Gerald Ayugi.
A beloved sister to the late Josephine, Joseph, the late Frederick, Raphael, Dr. Sylvia, Gregory, Peter, Alfred, Leonard, and Thomas.
Daughter-in-law to the late Peter Ayugi and the late Norah Atieno. A caring aunt and cousin to many.
Sister-in-law to the late David, the late Joshua, Regina, Jocelyn, the late Joan, Evelyne and Perpevia, Henry, Janet, Raymond, Hon Nancy, Alice, Frederick, Beldina, Oluoch, Ouma, among others.
Her passing has left a deep void in our lives that cannot be filled.
There will be a funds-drive on Wednesday 12th April, 2023 at Miriam House, opposite Kisumu heart Centre, along Kakamega Road.
The cortege leaves Kisumu District Hospital on 13th April, 2023 for a requiem service at Citam Kisumu and an overnight stay at her residence in Sinyolo.
A funeral service will be held on 14th April, 2023 at Sega on Kisumu – Busia Road and the burial takes place on 15th April, 2023 in Sega.
Come let us mourn and celebrate the life of our beloved together.
