ALUISIA KANINI GITONGA

It is with heavy and profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Aluisia Kanini Gitonga that occurred on Wednesday, 19th April 2023 at MP Shah Hospital. Mrs Aluisia Gitonga was the County Election Manager, Laikipia County.

She was beloved wife to Gitonga Mugambi, former Regional Manager Kenya Red Cross Society Central region.

Daughter to the late Reuben Kagundu and the late ldah Maitha of Karue village Kevote in Embu County. Daughter-in-law to the late Gerrald M’Mugambi and the late Janet Kagoki.

Mother to Lina Rwamba, ldah Murugi, Peter Mwaranjau and Maurice Mwenda. Mother-in-law to Brian Njuguna and Mercy Ndulu. Grandmother to Dylan Baraka, Amariah Wangui, Asher Mwangi and Glen Gitonga.

Sister to the late Tiodora & Niue, Basilio & Beatrice, Marcelino Ireri, Lucy & Kagwithi, Esther Njoki, Leonard & Janet, Benard & late Emily, Valerian & David.

Sister-in-law to Rose & Gitari, Eliphas & Evangeline Everlyn Gatune, Lydia & the late Njeru, the late Jediel & the late Idah, George Mutembei, the late Leonard Magi & Asford Micheni. She was a friend And a mentor to many.

Meetings are being held at Westwind Hotel in Meru and Runogone Giconga’s residence starting from 5.00pm.

The Funeral service will be held at Runogone Primary School in Imenti North constituency on 1st May 2023 at 10:00 am and thereafter burial at her home at Runogone opposite the chief’s camp.
