ELDER EPHRAIM NGUGI (WAIGI) KABERA

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing on of PCEA Elder Ephraim Ngugi (Waigi) Kabera on 5th May, 2023 while receiving treatment at Avenue Hospital Nairobi.

Son of the late Edward Kabera Waigi and Miriam Nyambara Kabera.

He was married to Mary Nyagathu Waigi. A loving father to Lucy Nyambara, Simon Kabera Waigi-USA, Samuel Gakara, Moses Njehu Waigi.

He was a caring brother of Moses Njehu, David Kariuki, Henry Gitau, Stephen Kironji, Joycephine Mukami – USA, the late Loise Njoki and Jemimar Njeri.

Son-in-law to Gakara wa Kaimba of Nakuru-Bahati area. He was a kind hearted cousin, uncle, a grandfather and great- great grandfather to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Gatimu, Rironi, Kiambu County, near the PCEA Benson Njonjo Memorial Church from 4:00pm for prayers.

Burial preparation Committee meets daily at his home, 6.30pm.

We shall gather to say our final goodbyes on Tuesday, 16Th May, 2023. The cortege leaves Tigoni Hospital Funeral Home at 9:00am. Funeral service will be held from 11:00am at the PCEA Benson Njonjo Memorial church, and thereafter burial at his home, a few meters from the church.
