RHODA JERONO CHELASHAW

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely passing on of Retired Teacher Rhoda Jerono Chelashaw, which occurred on 29th May, 2023 following an illness bravely borne. Loving wife of Mr Joel Chelashaw of Kapng’etuny Location,Ainabkoi Settlement Scheme.

Daughter to the late Kiprotich arap Chebii and late Kimoi Chebii of Kimamet village, Kamwosor Location. Daughter-in-law to the late Alexander-Chebii Chelashaw and Hannah Chebii.

Sister to Eunice Koletit,William Chebii, the late Nelson Chebii, the late Stephen Chebii, Samwel Chebii, Zakayo Rotich, Henry Chebii and Haron Chebii.

Sister-in-law to the late Jonathan Koletit, Eunice Chebii, Dinah Chebii, Esther Chebii, Loice Chebii, Agnes Rotich, Rael Chebii, the late Peter Chelashaw, Helen Kibire, Richard Ngetich, Henry Ngetich, Emmy Koech and Caroline Sirma.

Loving mother to the late Gladys Munge, Bethuel Chelashaw (SisiboTea), Joram Chelashaw (Ministry of Health), Dominic Chelashaw (Ericsson),Allan Chelashaw (USA), Duncan Chelashaw (KRA) Anthony Chelashaw (Dimension Data) and Cynthia Chelashaw (St. Gregory Naiberi Secondary School).

Mother-in-law to Julius Munge, Beatrice, Belinda, Ruth, Wilfrida, Ruth and Maty. She was blessed with 19 Grandchildren.

She is an adoring Aunt to Many.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing at her home Kapngetuny, Ainabkoi.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Friday 9th June, 2023 at 1:00pm for her final interment at her home in Kapngetuny, Ainabkoi Settlement Scheme, Uasin Gishu County on Saturday 10th June, 2023.

`You fought a good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith, now in God’s hands, you rest. In our hearts, you live forever.’ Amen!
