MZEE CHRISTOPHER TIMBWA ONG’ONDA

It is with heavy hearts but in acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mzee Christopher Timbwa Ong’onda on 3rd June, 2023.

Husband of the late Dinah Ayuma Timbwa. Loving father to Allan, Molline, Brenda, Micheal and James Timbwa. Father-in-law to Sophie Onyango, Petronila Shambula and Trufena Makutsa.

Son of the late Noah Ong’onda and Rispah Ayiera of Ebulako, Emabungo Village, Ebuhando Sub-location, Wekhomo Location, Emuhaya, Vihiga County.

Brother to the late Zablon Obudho, the late Elphas Okila, Moses Shikuku, the late John Semo, the late Josphine Kibisu, Nereah Kusa Ingati and Felesiah Anunda.

Brother-in-law to the late Dr. Edward Mugei, Joram Midambo, Agnetta Masakha, Phanice Kevogo, Ephraim Adagi, Patterson Midambo and the late Anunda, among others.

Grandfather to Ashley, Sandra, Chris, Victoria, Aljohns, Shani, Amirah, Favor, Blessing, Aquila, and Tyrese. A treasured uncle, cousin, friend and mentor to many.

The cortege leaves Kiminini Cottage Hospital on 15th June, 2023 at 10.00am for a memorial service at St. John’s ACK Church – Kiminini. Funeral service and interment will take place on Friday, 16th June, 2023 at his home in Minyali village, Ndalu scheme starting from 9.00am.
