MARGRET MUGURE GACHANGA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Margret Mugure Gachanga on Sunday, 19th June, 2023 at KU Referral Hospital after a short battle with illness.

Daughter to the late Mzee Ndungu Ngotho and the late Mama Leah Wambui.

Wife to John Gachanga Mungai. Mother to the late Kenneth Maina, Bishop Erick Mwangi (New Breed City Chapel), Winny Njeri and Dennis Ndungu. Mother-in-law to George Morara Masese,Victoria Mrombo and Mary Nthambi.

Sister to the late Patrick Ngige, Stanley Kimani, PriscillaWanjiru, GraceWaithera, Peter Mungaijoel Kuria, James Mbugua and Stephen Ndichu.

Sister-in-law to Leah Wanjiru, Lilian Nyambura, the late Henry Ndungu, Agnes Wambui, Simon Wanyoike, the late Nancy Wangechi, Susan Wangari.

Grandmother to Glory Gachanga, Angel Mugure, Jason Mrombo, Perfect King, Ethan Momanyi, Jada Kwamboka, Jordyn Nyatichi, Jasmine Mugure, Lisa Mugure and Darren Gachanga.

Family and friends are meeting at her residence in Komarocks Sector 3B, All Saints Cathedral and their rural home in Igikiro.

here shall be a fundraising on the Friday 23rd June, 2023 from 5.00pm at All Saints Cathedral to cater for the hospital bill and funeral expenses.

There will be a memorial service Monday 26th June 2023 at New Breed, City chapel along Kiambu Rd opposite 4 Ways Junction from 2.00pm.

The cortege leaves KU Referral Hospital Funeral Home ( Kahawa West) on 27th June, 2023 for the burial service which will take place at Kamahuha-lgikiro in Murang’a County. The ceremony shall take place at the Igikiro Primary School grounds. Thereafter, the burial service will be held at her home in Igikiro – Nyongo on the 27th June, 2023.
