WALTER ONYANGO YOYA

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Walter Onyango Yoya, which occurred on 17th June, 2023 at Kenyatta National Hospital, formerly of Nairobi City Council – Development Control.

Son of the late Yoya Chuchu, Ute, Domtilla, Marriam and Elsa. Son-in-law to the late Silphano Ododa, Joyce & the late Carren.

Beloved husband to the late Damaris & Caroline. Father to Rosslyne, Carolyne, Erick, Mary, Millicent, Lilian, Valerie, Daizy & Leon.

Brother to Peter, Susana, Esther, Isdora, Sophia, Lorna, Hellen, the late Arot, Nyakado, Akumu, Orito, Omanga, Ong’ore, Juma & Caren.

Grandfather to 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Uncle to Dan, Pamela, Nick, Jerry, among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 2.00pm at his residence in Umoja One Estate, Moi Drive, House No. M235 and at his home in Oyugis – Kokal Homabay County for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta National Hospital Farewell Home on Wednesday, 5th July, 2023 at 6.30am for burial on Thursday, 6th July, 2023 at his home in Oyugis Kokal – Homabay County, from 9.00am.

There will be a fundraising on Tuesday, Llt” July, 2023 from 5.00pm at All Saints Cathedral Church to offset medical bills and funeral expenses. Contributions via Mpesa can be channeled to George Omondi Tel: 0723883053.
