SR. MARY SALOME WANJIKU (GUS)

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we the Little Sisters of St. Francis announce the passing on of Sr. Mary Salome Wanjiku (Gus) on 6th July 2023 at St. Francis Community Hospital in Nairobi.

Daughter to the late Nicholause Mbaya and the late Veronica Njeri. Sister to the late Michiel Kigondu, the late Paul Kanyoni, John Thotho, the late Joseph Mutugu, Francis Muriu, Linus Njoroge, Pius Kimani, Peter Gakarau, Gabriel Wambui, Esther Wanjahi and Teresia Mumbi. She was aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves St. Francis Community Hospital Funeral Home — Nairobi on Wednesday, 12th July, 2023. Departure to St. Augustine Catholic Parish Church-Bahati at 4.30a.m, Requiem Mass will begin at 10.00a.m, followed by burial at Bahati Novitiate, Little Sisters of Sr. Francis Cemetery.
