GEOFFREY MWORIA MUTUNGA (CHAIRMAN)

It is with deep sorrow that we inform you of the death of our beloved dad the late Geoffrey Mworia Mutunga (Chairman) who passed on 4th July 2023.

He was the son of the late M’ Mutunga Muna and the late Rael Kanyai Mutunga, half son to Sarah Makandi Mutunga, and the late Zipporah Nyokabi Mutunga.

Husband to Lucy Karimi Mworia. Father to Doris Kania, Irene Kaimenyeri, Nelson Mwenda, Peninah Makena, Caroline Gakii, Christine Kendi and Sharon Kanana. Father-in-law to Alfred Muriithi, Koome Muriungi, Faith Kendi. Chris Kinyua and Joshua Kimaita. Grandfather to Leah, Collins, Victor, Allan, Simon, Jackline, Emmanuel, Bryson, Ian, Charles, Blessing, Abigail, Reagan, Lilac and Eidita.

Brother to the late Geraldine Gakii, Harrison Muthaura, Stella Kanorio, Julius Kathurima, the late Stephen Muriira, the late Rose Gatabi. Samuel Kinoti, the late Patrick Mbaabu, Douglas Mwiti, Joshua Koome, the late Mary Wanjiru, Lucy Gathoni, Alice Nyambura, Mary Wanini, Anne Ngima, Susan Nyaruai, and Monica Waniira. He was survived by many nephews and nieces.

Family and friends are meeting in Meru County at his home in Kaing’inyo village, Thimbiri sub-location and Timau Market where he was working until his demise.

He will be laid rest on Friday, 14th July, 2023 at his home at Kaing’inyo Village, Thimbiri sub-location, Meru County.
