IRENE NJERI “NALOTUESHA” TARURU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Irene Njeri “Nalotuesha” Taruru on Wednesday 19th July, 2023 after a short illness bravely borne. She was the CEO of Unimax Company Limited.

Irene was born on 21st May, 1974 to the late Robert Murugu Kinyua and Tabitha Wambui Murugu. Daughter-in-love to David Taruru and Maria Sempeyo Taruru.

Loving wife to Edwin Memusi Taruru. Doting mother to David Leshan and Robert Leiyan.

Sister to the late Anthony Kinyanjui Murugu, Catherine Wanjiru Murugu, Karen Wangari Murugu and Naomi Njoki Murugu.

Sister-in-love to Timothy Njuguna Kibe, John Mbugua Njuki, Tabitha Melanoi Taruru, Bob Taruru and Ronnie Taruru.

A beloved Auntie to Shinnen, Cindy, Shanice, Shaniella, Robert, Abigail, Maya, David, MaryLiz, Stacy, Kate, Maria, Tito and Iola. She was a cousin and friend to many.

Irene was an exceptional person who infused warmth, sophistication, order, and excellence into everything she did. She was a bold, articulate and beautiful soul who had a gift for connecting people and lived her life passionately.

There will be a memorial service on Tuesday 25th July, 2023 at All Saints Cathedral, starting at 12 noon.

There will be viewing of the body and prayers on Wednesday 26th July, 2023 from 7.00am at Lee funeral home. The cortege will leave Lee Funeral Home at 8:00am. Thereafter, the burial ceremony will be held at the family home in upper Matasia (Merisho) from 10:00am
