MURUNGI M’TURUCHIU BAITURU “PAPA BEAR”

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of our Beloved Murungi M’Turuchiu Baituru of Baituru Baron Investments Chuka.

Son to the late Robert M’turuchiu, and the late Ruth Karuku Robert.

Brother to the late Elizabeth Karoki, the late Silla Kathambi, the late Jennifer Kinanu, the late Muthuri M’turuchiu, Evangeline Karimi, Harriet Kathure, Henry Mwongera and Phillip Guantai.

Loving Husband to Rael Fatuma Murungi. Loving Father to Jessica Murugi, Michael Muchiri, the late Shawn Mwiti, Robert Mutwiri, the late Ruth Nkatha, Rehema Kiarie, and Malcolm Mwirigi. Father-in-law to Haruna Masebu, Joyce Muchiri, Nimu Mungai, Andrew Kiarie, Susan Kangai and Rose Gakii.

Grandfather to Mutugi, Mge, Josh, Johari, Nia, Jade, Iman,Akira, Maya, Qweli, Kaito and Qwanza, among many others. Uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Up until his untimely demise Mr. Murungi Baituru ran a successful business empire and served as the Chairman of the Chamber of commerce Tharaka Nithi Chapter and was also a member of Chuka Municipality. We are eternally grateful for the life he built with us & will cherish his memories forever.

Prayer and Funeral meetings are being held at Chuka DC grounds Tharaka Nithi County, from 4.00pm and in Nairobi at St. Andrews Church from 5.00pm.

The funeral cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, on Thika Road on Saturday 29th July, 2023 at 6:30am for a funeral service to be held at Chuka DC’s grounds. Thereafter, our beloved Murungi will be laid to rest at Genesys Farm in Ntuntuni KK Village.
