JAMES GICHANGI

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of James Gichangi on 19th July, 2023.

Son of the late Kimenyi Theuri and the late Eunice Wanjuku Kimenyi. Step-son of the late Jane Muthoni Kimenyi and the late Jedidah Wanjiru Kimenyi.

Loving husband of Perpetua Gichangi. Father of the late Eric Kariuki, Eunice Gichangi, Kevin Gichangi and Philip Gichangi.

Father-in-law of William Githara, Caroline Kiarie and Hellen Kariuki.

Grandfather of Samuel Githara, Abigail Githara, Joanna Gichangi, James Gichangi and others.

Brother of the late Rahab Muteru, the late Esther Kariuki, Loyce Githinji, Irene Kariuki and the late Rose Ndegwa. Step-brother of others.

Son-in-law of the late Bishop Laadan Kamau Mbiu and the late Abigael Wanjiku Kamau.

Family and friends are meeting at PCEA St. Andrew’s Church, Nairobi on 26th July, 2023 at 5:30pm and daily at the family home in Njoguini Village, Tetu Constituency, Nyeri.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home – Outspan, on Friday 28th July, 2023 at 9:00 am for a funeral service at ACK St. Peter’s Cathedral – Nyeri. at 10:00am. Thereafter, the burial service will be held at his home in Njoguini Village, Tetu Constituency, Nyeri.
