It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our dear Margery Gitiri, which occurred on Sunday July 23rd 2023, at the Nairobi West Hospital after a long illness bravely borne.
Beloved daughter of the late Naftaly Nyaga Solomon and Eunice Nthereru Naftaly.
Loving mother to Newton Munene and Violet Gatwiri. Mother-in-law to Sharon Kagwiria. Doting grandmother to Samara Keru and Jace Newton.
Cherished sister to Jim Muriithi and Miriam, Rose Njura, Catherine Muthoni, John Njeru and Esther, the late Stephen Ngari and Josephine, George Nthiga and Beatrice, Joseph Njagi and the late Edwin Njiru.
A treasured aunty, niece, cousin, friend and colleague to many.
Family and friends are meeting at the All Saints’ Cathedral from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM for prayers and final arrangements.
The cortege leaves The Nairobi West Hospital Morgue on Friday 28th July 2023 at 7:00AM for a funeral service at ACK St. John’s Matiru Church, Embu from 11:00 AM. Thereafter she will be laid to rest at the family home in Ngimari Village, Manyatta, Embu County.
