It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Janet Lucy Sau on Wednesday, 19th July, 2023 following a brave battle with cancer. Janet was a retired banker at Stanchart Bank Kenya.

Beloved and cherished daughter to the late Godfrey Mwakio Kirangu and the late Esther-Waleghwa Kirangu.

Loving wife to Ejidio Mwaniki. Doting Mom to Rogers Mwashimba and Samuel Mwakio. Loving mother-in-law to Gertrude Mapenzi and Lydiah Grace. Loving grandma to Janet Mwashimba, Emmar Mbala, Malika Mwakio, Ethan Mwakio, Mwakio Mwashimba and others.

Loving step-mom to Lewis Mwaniki and Jane Wanja Mwaniki.

Loving Aunt to Jael Waleghwa, Julius Mwachia, Arnita Mkamburi, Esther Samba, Godfrey Maganga, Mustapha Mwadime, Fridah Ngoli, Esther Nyambu and many more.

Sister to Erasto Maganga, the late Mwadime Kirangu, the late Flora Kirangu, the late Agnes Wakio, Constance Samba, Elvis Nyambu, Peter Kirangu, Fr Zakayo Kirangu and others.Adorable niece to Penina, Joyce Mwangombe, Parnet and others.

Cousin to Agnes Wakio, Brenda Mbala, Janet Sau, Cecilia,Annastacia and many others.

Prayers are being held daily at her home in Nakuru, in Kilifi and in Embu.

The cortege will leave Gakwegori Funeral Home in Embu for Gakwegori Mugumori village in Embu on 28th July, 2023 where the burial has been set to take place on the day.

Psalm 23:6 (NV): “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and 1 will dwell in the house of the Lord forever” Amen.
