JANE ADHIAMBO AJWANG

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that the Teachers Service Commission together with Kachacha clan announces the death of Jane Adhiambo Ajwang following a short illness, bravely borne.

She was the loving wife of Benedict Odemba (USA). Beloved mother to Moses Oduma (Bobby Mapesa), Felix Odemba (Flexnet Networks) and Richard Osewe (TSC). Grandmother to India Adhiambo, Chacha Bala and Ayanna Awuonda.

Daughter of Emmanuel Ajwang (late) and Hellen Awuonda. Daughter-in-law of Andrew Odemba (late), Jane Adhiambo and Ann Odemba.

Sister of Gilbert, Peter, Fredrick (late), George, Millicent (late), Maureen, Gabriel, Jacintar and Stellamaries.

Sister-in-law of Francesca (USA), Dennis, Benta, Rose, Lucas, Margaret, Mary, Collins, Rose (late), Lillian, Tom, Carolyne, Loise, Jackline (late), Fred, Patrick, Evelyn (late), Clement and Millicent.

Auntie to Ken Wadhwa (940 Air Cargo) among others and a valued mentor and friend to many.

Family and friends,are meeting daily for prayers at her home in Utawala Estate on China Road, opposite Muungano Police Station, Air View 92 Court from 3.00pm.

The cortege leaves Coptic Mission Hospital on 9th August 2023 for an overnight stay at her Utawala home. The requiem mass service will take place on the same day at the Holy Family Utawala Parish. The burial will be held on Friday, 11th August 2023 at Kamreri Location near Osodo Secondary School, Gembe Ward, Suba North Sub-County, Homabay County.

There will be a fundraising ceremony tomorrow,Thursday, 3rd August 2023, at 5.00P.M. at Professional Centre, located on Parliament Road, St. John’s Lane.
