It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Henry Ochieng’ Owek, of Maseno – Nyawita, that occurred on Sunday 23rd July, 2023.

Son to the late James Owek and Hellen Atieno of Kisumo Karteng’. Step-son to the late Christina, the late Dorina, the late Margaret and the late Jane. Son-in-law to the late Hannington Odido and the late Margaret Akungu of Gem Ludha.

Beloved husband to Roselidah Aoko. Father to Christine Auma, Hellen Atieno, James Owek, Margaret Akungu, Sylvia Achieng’, Hannington Odido, and Joy Jillynda. Father-in-law to the late John Inda, Dr. ErickWara, Caroline Awuor, Lennox Mwanjala,Victor Yogo.

Brother to late James, the late Ruth, the late Mary, the late Moses, the late Joseph, the late Elizabeth, Benson, Laban, the late Monica, Alfred, Danniel, Jakonia, Apolo and others.

Brother-in-law to George, the late Lorna, the late Bethuel, Mika, Rt. Rev. Emily, Daniel, Rev. Jael, Bishop Angela, Agnes, Daisy and Susan , among others.

In law to the late Jotham lnda, Samson and Margaret Okumbo, Benta Ajing, Marcellah Mbala, and Yogo Ogolla.

Grandfather to Wendy, Moses, Sammy, Rozzy, Henry (Junior), Henry Wara, Shanta, Charlene, Solace, Sonny, Emma, Ethan, Gloria, Adrian, Chayse and Shayna.

The cortege will leave Star Funeral Home (Ogango), on 10th August, 2023 for a memorial service at All Saints Church – Maseno.The burial service will be held on Friday 11thAugust,2 023 at Maseno, Nyawita Village.
