It is with humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing on of Teresia Wangari Gachanja of Dedan Kimathi University of Technology.

Daughter of the late Aloysius Gachanja Gioche and Julia Nyandia Gachanja of lgwamiti Nyahururu.

Mother of Sharon Nyandia and Favour Wanjiru.

Sister to Tom Gioche, Sabina Wanjiku VVamagana, the late Martha Wangeci, Mary Waruguru Njuguna, Paul Njagi, John Kigo, the late Michael Waweru, Joseph Mwangi and Daniel Ndirangu.

Niece of Juliana Waruguru, Esther Nyambura Nduacu, Ebai Kamau Gioche, and Michael Waweru Njagi.

Cousin to Virginia Muthoni (Nyeri), Simon Gioche, Jane Muthorti, and Irene Nyambura, Benson Gioche, Tony Gioche Nduacu, Joseph Gioche, Fiona Wanjiku, Major Macharia, Joshua Chege Muraya, Evan Gioche, Peter Mwaniki, Ann Wacuka Gathitu, Peter Chege Gathitu, Rose Gathithu, Onesmus Kinyua, Susan Maguiya, Athony Njagi, Nicholus Njagi Waweru, among others. An auntie to many.

Daily meetings are being held at her home in Ngangarithi Nyeri and at her parent’s home in lgwamiti – Nyahururu.

The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home – Outspan on Friday, 15/09/2023. at 7.00 a,m. Thereafter, the burial service will be held at Igwamiti Nyahururu, Laikipia County.
