It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mrs. Lugina Tirindi Kanampiu of Ngaintethia Village, Igoji West Ward, South Imenti Sub-county, Meru County which occurred on 27th September, 2023.

Daughter of the late David M’Ndagwene and the late Muthoni MiNdagwene, the late Ambrogina Kanugu and the late Sarafina Kanugu. Sister to the late Agnes Marti Mugiira, the late Margaret Kathuguci, the late Edviie Kathono, the late Peter Meme, the late Beatrice Ndia, the late Idah Wania, the late Presina Kauria, Jane Maitha, George Muriuki, James Kiraithe, Boniface Riungu, jeniffer Gatiria, Domenic Kariuki and Patrick Murithi.

Wife to the late Luciano Kanampiu. Mother to the late Francis Mwebia, Christine Nyaga, Fred Kanampiu, the late Evangeline Kambura, the late Charles Gikunda, Francisca Kaari, Cosmas Kimathi, Albert Kamunde and Patrick Muriungi.

Mother-in-law to Priscilla Mwebia, Henry Nyaga, Salome Kanampiu, Jane Gikunda, Lawrence Kinyua, Lilian Kimathi, Betty Kamunde and Angela Muriungi.

Grandmother to Murimi Mwebia, Kinya, Muthomi, Dennis. Karwitha, Murithi, Moffat, Gacheri, Vernon Murimi, Eric, Gakii, Derrick, Mugambi, Peter, Munene, Paul, Lynn, Lee, Kendi, Kanampiu, Winnie and Biana.

Great-grandmother to Tatiana, Kelvin, Jake, Ethan, Liam, Makena, Victor and Vernon. Aunty and cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers at her home in Ngaintethia Village Igoji daily and at St. Andrew”s PCEA Church on 3rd and 4th October, 2023 at 5:00pm.

The cortege leaves St. Anne Mortuary on Saturday 7th October, 2023 at 9.30am for a Funeral Mass at Kinoro Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Kinoro at 10:00am and Burial at her home in Gakiri Village, South Imenti Sub County, Meru County.
