PATRICK ODINGA ONGUTO

15th January, 1961 – 28th September, 2023

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Patrick Odinga Onguto (formerly of KeRRA). which occurred on the 28/09/2023 at Aga Khan Hospital – Kisumu after a long illness bravely borne.

Son to teacher Roselida Were Onguto and the late Richard Onguto. Nephew to Mama Benter and the late Humpherys Othino. Loving husband to Jacinta & Millicent Odinga.

Father to Newton, Corizon, Emmanuel, Steve and junior Cherished brother to Christian Otieno, the late Justice Louis Onguto, the late Mary Onguto, Dorothy Onguto. Joseph, Victor, Wilfred, George, the late Millicent, Peter, Una, Moses, Phyllis and the late Jim.

Brother-in-law to Consolata Onguto, Patricia, Charles, Rose, Riziki, Jessica, Millicent, Betty, Dotty, Eng. Felix, Eng_Washington, Dr. James, Ben and Jack. Cousin to the Aumas, Agutus and Wasongas.

Family and friends are gathering daily at his residence in Robert Ouko Estate – Kisumu from 6.30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary on 13/10/2023, at 10.00am for a funeral service at StTeresa’s Cathedral Church – Kibuye, Kisumu. Thereafter, he will be laid to rest at his home in Dudi Village, Khwisero, Kakamega County on 14/10/2023.
