MAMA JERUSA OMINA MAYENDE

The Mayende Family regret to announce the death of Mama Jerusa Omina Mayende, which occurred on 21st September, 2023 after a short illness

Daughter of the late Mzee Indimuli Buliba and the late Mama Selina Anyoso of Ebukambuli Ebumbwera, Khwisero Sub-county in Kakamega County.

She was the widow to Mzee Timothy Mayende Waka and mother to the late Hezron Waka, the late Dorice Anungo, Renson Indimuli, Phellestus Okwomi, the late Sarah Email, Davies Aloyc Mayende, Rose Mayende, Grace Gwehema, Velmah Ongota and the late Stanely Mayende. Step-mother to Alucheri Mayende, Leah Omukuba, Benard Khwak.a and Loice Amenya. Mother-in-law to Linet Waka, Gloria Indimuli and Jane Aloyo. Mama Jerusa is survived by 53 grandchildren and 102 great-grandchildren.

The cortege will leave Masaba Hospital Funeral Home – Kisumu on Thursday 05 October, 2023 from 10.00am for a funeral service at St. Johns ACK Church – Mukhombe from 1100hrs to 1300hrs. Thereafter, the cortege will leave for her home in Ebuhanza Village – Mushiarigubu Sub-location, Mulwanda Location, Khwisero Sub-county, Kakamega County.

She will be laid to rest on 07th October, 2023 at her home Ebuhanza Village.
