DR. FLORENCE OSIRI ORUTA

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that we announce the death of Dr. Florence Osiri Oruta of Maasai Mara University, which occurred on Thursday, 28th September 2023.

Daughter to the late Paul Mobegi and Francisca Nyakerario. Daughter-in-law to Scspeter Nyakora Oruta and Agnes Barongo.

Loving Wife to Dr Joash Oruta Nyakora (Water Resources Authority). Beloved mother to Ruth Kerubo (PHO-Kakamega County), Eng. Precious Bochere (Australia), Eleazer Nyakora (Australia) and Biomed, Ezra Mobegi. Mother-in-law to Josiah Basweti and Angela Nyanumba. Grandmother to Jesse, Dave, Dilan, Reign and Paul.

Sister to Kennedy, James,Victor, Sr. Clemencia (Loreto Sisters), the late Catherine, Teresa, Josephine, Richard, Peter, Mary.

Sister-in-law Hezekiah and Lucy, Teresa (USA), Rosebella, Nyaata and Jelliah, Alice (USA), Jenipher, Joyce, Priscilla, Mellen, Jared and Alice, Evans and Olpha, Naomi, Nyatara and Jackie. Aunty to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her home(s) Mwamba, Narok Town and Amatagaro-Magenche, Kisii County for prayers and burial preparations from 5:00p.m.

The cortege will leave Kisii Level Six Mortuary on Thursday, 19th October 2023 for her final resting place at Amatagaro Village, Magenche Sub Location, Kisii County. The funeral service will take place at Amatagaro Primary School grounds along Mariba-Nyagancha Road on 20th October 2023.
