It is with profound sadness that we announce the demise of our beloved mum. CLARICE AYOMA APIYO who peacefully passed away after a bravely borne fight with dementia and bi-polar disorder.

Wife to the the Late Jeremiah Apiyo, daughter to the late John Adala and Dorina Akahyalu and Mother to Miriam Musimbi (Late) Alex Omwela Apiyo (Late), Rose Nyangasie, Caroline Apiyo, David Apiyo (DSM – IL) and Hudson Kula.

Sister to The late(s) Dinah, Livingstone, Hudson and Hezron Akahayalu, Mikali, Flora, Melissa , Abisagi, Monicah and Hoka.

Sister in law to Late (s) Gideon Okwiya,Newton Ambuyo, Jonathan Olumbe and Wellington Maneno; Abdallah, Salim, Lydiah and Lauzi Kula,

Mother in Law to Monalisa Mueni, Caroline, Vincent and the beloved grandmother of Alex, Clinton, Brian, Diana, Jeremy, Janice, Ethann, Eidell , Eireann, Wangeci, Hakim and Mukeni.

Family, Friends & Relatives are gathering at her residence in Ruai – Nairobi for funeral and fund raising arrangements daily from 6.00 pm.

The Cortege will leave the Kenyatta University Mortuary on Friday 20/10/23 and will thereon be transported to her home in Ruai where the Funeral Service and burial will take place on the same day.
