It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mr. Athanas Lusaala Shibonje that occurred on 10`” October 2023 at Mukumu Hospital Kakamega.

Loving husband to Justine Lusaala Khacheli and Adelaide Shikokoti.

Son of the late Mzee Cosmas Shibonje and the late Lucia Simani. Step son to the late Rasoah Kutima from Kwirenyi.

Father to Inviolate, the late Florence, the late Milton, Jane, Nancy, Eunice, Carolyne, Sebastian, Josphat, Michael and Hellen.

Grandfather to Brian, Eustace, Lukas, Humphrey, Roy, Wendy, Stephen, Frankly, Mercy, Kiptoo, Diana, Dennis, Daniel, Deborah, Jeremy, Jesse, Crystal, Jasmine, Ignatius, Stephane,Ashley, Marygoretti, Mary Anne, Joyleen and Emmanuel.

Brother to the late Clement Ingoi, the late Daviah Indasi, the late Maximila, Sepentia and the late Adisa.

Father-in-law to Peter, the late Patrick, Ben, Joseph, Josphat, Napoleon, Millicent and Lauyne.

Uncle to Pius, Phedelis, Cosma, Pamela,Antonina, Martina, Jane, Cosma and others.

The cortege leaves Mukumu Mission Hospital for a funeral service on 23rd October and thereafter burial on 25th October 2023 at his home in Busakala Village, Shinyalu Division, Kakamega County.
