It is with humble appreciation of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mr. John Nyogoro Gachukia on 26 October, 2023 after a short illness. Until his demise, he was an employee of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection (State Department for Social Protection, Nairobi
Children’s Remand Home, Lower Kabete).

Son of Mzee James Gachukia and the late Elizabeth Wambui.

Loving husband to Pauline Wachuka. Devoted father to Alex Gachukia; Victor Mwangi; Late Linet Wambui; Joypraise Waruguru; and Godwill Kuhaka.

Brother to late Rosemary Muthoni; Gerald & Lilian Kuhaka; Esther Wanjugu; Hillary Muraguri; Raphael & Gladys Ngahu; Richard Mukiria; Lilian Muthoni; and Elias & Eunice Kigotho.

Son — in — law to Stephen Gichohi and Mary Gathigia. Brother — in — law to Robert Kinunge; Isaac Mwai; Lydiah
Wanjugu; Joseph Kanyingi; Moses Kanuri; and Joel Gatambu.

Family and friends are meeting daily at the family residence in Nairobi, Jogoo Road Government Quarters, Phase |, House NO. LG 887A from 06:00pm for prayers and funeral arrangements; and at his parents’ home in Kahithe Village, Gikondi Location, Mukurwe-ini Sub — County of Nyeri County.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home (Thika Road) on Saturday 4th November, 2023 at 06:30am for church service and burial ceremony at the family farm in Kahithe village, Mukurweini Sub — County of Nyeri County,
