MIGWA MWEU NTHIGA

Born: 7th January 1987 – Transitioned: 1st November 2023 

It is with the humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Migwa Mweu Nthiga through a tragic road accident.

Migwa was the last born son of Retired Colonel Franklin Nthiga and Dr. Margaret Nduku Nthiga; brother to Liz and Scott Geller, Yvonne Nthiga and Joan Nthiga; loving partner and fiancé to Tessa Mawingu Allmendinger; and uncle to Isaiah, Eli, Denzel, Taye and Tawi.

Prayers and meetings are currently being held at their Nairobi residence.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, 9 November 2023 at 10:00 am at the Nairobi Baptist Church, Ng’ong Road and his burial service will be in Gachoka, Embu on Saturday, 11 November 2023 at 10.00 am.

We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support shown and we continue to stand with the family as we celebrate the life of Migwa, remembering the lives he touched and the people that loved him for the beautiful soul that he was.

In keeping with Migwa’s passion for the environment, we kindly request that there be no flowers and those who can should plant indigenous trees to continue a cause that was dear to his heart.
