GEORGE GATUNDU WAWERU

It is with great sadness but in acceptance of the will of God that we announce the untimely demise of George Gatundu Waweru which occurred in Kijabe Hospital.

Son to the late Waweru Waithaka and Hannah Waruiru.

Loving husband to Mary Nyambura Gatundu. Father to Martin Waweru, Hannah Waruiru, Nelson Makumi, Beatrice Wangui, John Njenga, David Muchiri and Esther Njeri.

Father-in-law to Catherine Kinyua, Pauline Wachoro and Cecilia Wanjiru. Grandfather to George, Alex, Tedd, Nelly, Aryana, Ryan, Joy, Liam, Abigael and Tyrese.

Brother to Esther Njeri, Wathithi Kuria, Kimani, Wangui, Mbura and the late Njenga Waweru and Njibu. Step brother to Mariga, late Njenga, Njeri, Njuguna, Gacambi and Njibu.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home Githogoiyo at 3:00pm.

The memorial service will be held on 8th November, 2023 at his home Githogoiyo Village.

The cortege leaves Uplands Funeral Home, Nyambari on 9th November, 2023 at 8:00am for a funeral service and burial ceremony at his home Lari Location Githogoiyo Village, Kiambu County.
