JULIUS MBUI MWETU

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of Julius Mbui Mwetu on November 6, 2023 at Jamaa Mission Hospital.

He was the second born child of the late Mwetu Musylmi and Alice Kithango.

Husband of the late Rose Ndotu Ngandi. They were blessed with ten children namely; Francis Mwetu, Alice Burudi, Stella Musoe, Boniface Mumo, Joel Mutemi, Flavian Ngula, Michael Musili, Mathew Mbui, Patrick Mulandi and Monicah Mbuli.

Son-in-law of the late Stanley Ngandi and the late Tabitha Musoe.

Father-in-law to Dr. Douglas Kuloba, Alice Mwetu, Cate Mumo, Fransisca Mutemi, Monicah Ngula, Malia Ngutu and Agnes Mulandi; John Katuta, Klvivya Ngunguti amongst others.

Grandfather to Mull, Rose, Ashley, Bernice,Telvin Mbui, Jovan, Mwangi,Telvin Ngikwa, Ndotu, Amani, Jax, Abel, Ryan, Lenai, Neema; Others are Kyalo, Mumbee, Musili, Ndanu, Mawia, Stella, Hellen. Brother to Mbuthye Mutunga, Patrick Mulandi, John Kikombo, Peter Vetelo, Josephine Musyoka and the late Agneta Lila Musyoka.

Step brother to the late Kwali Mwetu, the late Mwala, the late Mutemi, the late Nduku, the late Thighi, the late Kitondo, Joseph Musili amongst others.

Uncle to the late Magdalene Katuta, Michael Kwali, the late Ngunguti Kwali, Lucina Nzangi, Joshua Kwali, Joseph Nzomo, Boniface Kitundu, Julius Math, Samson Mulandi, Catherine Mbuva, Benedetta Kavungwa, Alex Mutua, John Kikombo, Alex Mutemi, Dr Joseph Nzau, Lawrence Kyuma, the late Mutunga Ngati, Philip Mulyungi, Kasau Mutunga, Teddy Kivuvani, Tabitha Muli amongst others.

Brother-in-law to Fellstus Nyali, Peninah Mulandi, the late Ruth Makaa, the late Nzunguli Ngandi, the late Kituni, the late Kavana, the late Ann Wango, Elijah Mulewa, Pauline Nduta,Winfred Mbathe.

His cousins are Ngikwa Musee, Mbui Ngutu, Nghuno Ngutu, Ngikwa Syanda, Christine Kithoka, Ngikwa Kiti, Joseph Kiu, Cecilia Musili amongst others.

A Requiem Mass will be held today, 14thNovember, 2023 at his Kasanga home, Mwingi West starting from 2.00pm.

Family and friends are meeting today, 14th November, 2023 at Langata Gardens, Nairobi, Block 7, Dog Unit Road from 6.00pm for funeral plannings and burial arrangements.

The cortege will leave KU Funeral Home,Thika Road, Nairobi on Friday, 17th November 2023 at 7.00am for burial at his Kasanga Home, Mwingi West at 10:00am.
