I just learned of the news of Mr. Charles Rop’s passing today, 14/1/2024. We were former colleagues at Childcare Worldwide, where we shared many interactions. Our bond was strengthened by common interests in agriculture and a shared passion for vehicle mechanical work. Learning about his battle with cancer and subsequent treatment in India, I maintained contact and continued our conversations.
Last year, he followed my social media accounts very closely, expressing a desire for us to collaborate again. Unfortunately, this plan never materialized. During our phone conversations, his frailty was evident in his voice. Today, realizing his prolonged silence, I attempted to reach out to him and check his Facebook account, only to discover the heartbreaking news that he had passed away two months ago.
This news saddens me deeply. Charles was a remarkable man, characterized by his unwavering faith, resilience, and strong work ethic. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace, brother Charles, until we meet again.
