The family of late Bernard Odette Agedo announce the passing on of Mama Dinah Akumu Agedo which occurred on 16th November 2023, in Rongo, Migori County.

She was the Beloved wife to the late Bernard Odette Agedo.

Daughter to the late Mzee Michael and the late Mama Merceliana Otiego of Wakeru, Gem Asumbi, Homa Bay county

Daughter in-law to the late Mzee Janes and the late Mama Serfina Agedo.

Mother to Rev. Tom Nyerere (Deliverance Church, Rongo), the late Rev. Beldine and the late Pst. Carol; Rose and Sammy Opiyo; Jacqueline and Johnson Rakwach; Dorothy and Tajo Mwasi; the late Evaline and Hon Dr. Peter Ogolla ; Robert, Pauline and & Jacqueline Odette; Mike and Perida Agedo; Fred and Pamela Odhiambo.

Sister to the late Petro, the late Grey, the late Henry, the late Thomas, Rtd Senior Chief Zakayo Otiego and the late Maurice, all of Wakeru, Gem Asumbi.

Sister-in-law to Mzee Peter Odongo Agedo.

Grandmother to Beryl; Bernard and Monicah; Sylvia; Pritt and Family; Asenath and Archie; Bernadette; Christine; Emmanuel and Bertha; Stella and Dr. Were Omange; and Whitney. Ruth; Joanne; Winnie; Diana and Dr. Vitalis Ogolla; Tom; Elland; Beatrice and David; Gift, Faith, Gilbert and Mercy; Joy and Comm. Masikonte; Mich; Nyalo; Bradley; Amari; Eva; Doreen; Joseph and Naomi;Victor, Collins, Marlon and Grace.

She leaves behind 32 great-grandchildren.

Beloved aunt to the Otiegos, Okumus, K’Ochola clan nieces and nephews, among others.

The cortege leaves Rosewood Funeral Home, Rongo on Thursday, 30th November 2023 for a memorial service at Winyo Church of Christ.

Funeral service will be on Friday, 1st December 2023 at Ebenezer Christian Academy West Sub- Grounds followed by interment at her home in Odienya Village, East Kamagambo Location, Migori County.
