MILLICENT KABANGI

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our mum Millicent Kabangi, which occurred on 26th November, 2023.

Beloved darling wife to Mr. Nelson Kabangi former Principal of KTI now Kirinyaga University, former Registrar at Kenya Technical Teachers Training College (KTTC).

Mother to Davis Muriithi, Catherine Kabangi Nganga, Daniel Gitonga, Anne Kabangi,Winfred Kabangi Mwangi. Mother-in-law to Mercy Muriithi, Mercy Gitonga, Peter Nganga, Patrick Mwangi. She was an adoring grandma to Victor, Martha, Derrick, Ivy, Ruth, Jabali, Joy, Nathaniel, Lemuel, Gabriel and many more.

She was a sister in law to the late Bernard, the late Penina, the late Martha and Daisy. She will be remembered by many as sister, an aunt, a cousin, a mentor, a loyal friend to many.

She was a retired teacher, a leader in the community, a mother’s union leader, and an ardent christian of ACK Faith Church – Kirimunge.

The cortege leaves ACK Mount Kenya Funeral Home – Kerugoya, at 7:30am on Friday 1st December, 2023 for a requiem service at ACK Faith Church Kirimunge, near Kagio in Kirinyaga County, and thereafter interment at her home.
