JUSTUS KAMEYA MWETU

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to Glory of Mzee Justus Kameya Mwetu on 21st November 2021.

He was the husband of Phoebe Mukuta Kameya. Father to Doris Mbithe, Catherine Mwende, Nason Nzambu, George Musyoka, Elzabeth Kalimi, Erick Muusya Pamelah Katanu, and Anita Loice.

He was father-in-law toVirginia Mary, Mercy Kinya, Dr. Gilbert Ngesu, Joseck Wafula, and Austin Oduor.

Grandfather to Blessings, Denis, Linda, Mark, Alex, Zoe. Zuriel,Tazanna, and Zack. He was brother to the late Munywoki, the late Loise Ilako, Damaris Nzunga, the late Charles Mwove, Priscilah Katanu, Josphine Kaminda, and the late Joshua Mwetu.

He was brother-in-law to Ilako Mututa, Musili Kitiva, Mwathe Mbiti, and Mwangangi Kaseka (all late); Janet and the late Kwongela Mutia, Christine Mbundu. Gabriel and Mwikali Kathi, Zephelyn and Musyoki Musee, Geoffrey and Mumbe Mbiti, Rose and Muema John, Charles and Kalau Kimwele, the late Jimmy Mwengi and Tabitha Mwengi, the late Skytt Mukeli, Alex and Margaret Mutuku.

Cousin to the late Nyile Kathembe, Kilonzi Kavuwa, Benson Kwinga, among others.

Uncle to Dr. Ilako, Cosmas, Austin, Mbiti, Kathembe among others.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nairobi, on December 2nd, 2023, at 6.00 a.m. for burial at his residence in Ilani Village, Mithini Location, Mutonguni Ward, Kitui est Constituency, Kitui County.

Family and friends are meeting daily from Monday, November 27th to Thursday, November 30th, at 6-8 p.m, at the Holy Family Basilica, 7th Foor.

There will be a fundraiser on Thursday, November 30th, 2023 to offset medical and burial expenses.
