MARTIN WAHOME THAIRU

It is with deepest sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we are saddened to announce the untimely
passing of Martin Wahome Thairu, which occurred on 2nd December, 2023.

A beloved husband to Margaret Wangari. Father to Lynn Wangechi and Leon Thairu.

The only brother to Dennis Kariuki Thairu.

A cherished first born son to the late John Thairu and the late Rosemary Wangechi.

Son-in-law to Cyrus Kahunyo and Pauline Mukuhi.

He was a friend, uncle, cousin, and colleague to many,

Family and friends are invited to join in daily meetings to celebrate Martin’s life at Norwich Union, opposite Hilton Hotel in CBD, and at his home in Kinoo from 5:30pm.

The cortége will leave J.M. Kariuki Memorial Hospital Mortuary on the 12th December, 2023 at 8:00am.

A funeral service and burial ceremony will follow on the same day at his parents home in Kasuku, Nyandarua County.

2 Cor 5:8 ~ “Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with The Lord.”
